How the Weekly Fish List Works
Each week, our owner Paul works directly with Gulf fishermen and suppliers to determine what wild-caught seafood is available. The selection changes weekly based on what is freshest and in season. Once the list is finalized, we publish it on our website at theseafoodplace.net/weekly-fish-list and share it with our subscribers.
Customers can browse the list and pre-order their favorite items. This is especially important for popular items like fresh Gulf shrimp, snow crab legs, and seasonal catches that tend to sell out quickly. Pre-ordering guarantees you get exactly what you want.
From the Gulf to Tullahoma: The Journey
What makes our fish list different from what you find at a grocery store? The answer is freshness and traceability. Our seafood travels by refrigerated trailer at temperatures of 38 degrees Fahrenheit or below, directly from Gulf ports to our restaurant and market in downtown Tullahoma. There are no warehouses, no distributors adding days to the supply chain, and no mystery about where your seafood came from.
This direct sourcing model means the fish on our weekly list was swimming in the Gulf just days before it arrives at The Seafood Place. That level of freshness is something you typically only find at coastal seafood markets, and we bring it to Middle Tennessee every single week.

Our weekly fish list typically includes a variety of wild-caught Gulf seafood. Depending on the season and availability, you might find fresh red snapper, grouper, mahi-mahi, Gulf shrimp in various sizes, snow crab legs, blue crab, oysters, crawfish, and other seasonal catches. We also carry specialty items when available.
The variety changes week to week, which is part of what makes it exciting. Our regular customers look forward to seeing what is new each week, and many have standing orders for their favorites.
